FD Coco Mulch is a 5 kg (11lbs) compressed mulch block, manufactured by crushing coconut husks. Unlike bark mulch, coco mulch has many benefits. It does not float, making it suitable for use on sloped surfaces. Thanks to the high lignin content in coconuts, FD Coco Mulch will outlast bark mulch, providing up to 3 years of mulching benefits without needing to be refreshed. After being hydrated with 4 gallons of water, each block expands to about 2 cubic feet of mulching medium. With its "rust" like appearance, FD Coco Mulch adds color to your landscape and is ideal for any mulching project. It does not attract insects and is safe for pets. However, it is important to note that FD Coco Mulch is not for consumption. Each block will expand to approximately 2 cubic feet of mulching medium after being hydrated with 4 gallons of water. It is made from 100% coconut husk that has been washed, cut, dried, and compressed, with no additives. The "rust" like color of the mulch enhances the aesthetic appeal of your outdoor landscape. To use, simply place the block on a wheelbarrow or in a large drum, and add lukewarm water for rapid expansion, yielding almost a wheelbarrow full of mulching material.
